Art on Paper 2018
Posted on February 20 2018
Paradigm Gallery and Studio is pleased to share their presentation of artists for Art on Paper 2018. Located at Booth 307, artists Alex Eckman-Lawn, Kelly Kozma, Ruby Silvious, and Seth Clark will be exhibiting their works from March 8th through 11th. Alex Eckman-Lawn uses an engrossing combination of multi-layered, hand-cut collages and surreal illustrations to create a depth that draws the viewer into his pieces. Kelly Kozma is known for her intricate and abstract works that she describes as process-driven, a deconstruction and hand-stitched reassembly of memories. Ruby Silvious’s detailed and delicate paintings, created on used tea bags, depict vivid slice-of-life scenes, and her collaged reinventions of old master paintings poke modern fun at art history. Seth Clark explores deteriorating architecture in his practice, through a complex, mixed media layering process that tricks the eye from afar.
The artists have all created their artwork using their own individual methods and mediums, but will be coming together for a fair display not to miss.
Art on Paper returns to downtown Manhattan's Pier 36 in March of 2018 to build on the success of the fair's first three editions. Art on Paper's medium-driven focus lends itself to significant projects - unique moments that have set the fair apart and established a new and important destination for the arts in New York City.
