In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Paradigm Gallery is launching a new initiative called Insider Picks, a series of guest-curated benefit virtual exhibitions. Each month, the gallery will select a fellow small business owner to curate their very own Paradigm exhibition. The guest curators will come from all backgrounds and industries and will share their unique point of view through their curatorial vision. A portion of the proceeds will go to a charity of the curator’s choice, as well as to the curator’s small business, and of course, the participating artists. Insider Picks hopes to bring awareness to the Paradigm artists, small businesses and select charities who have been affected by the pandemic. We’re all in this together! 

Insider Picks’s exhibitions will go live on our website Tuesdays at 3pm EDT.

This week's guest curator is Conrad Benner, founder of Streets Dept. A portion of the proceeds from his picks will be donated to The Philadelphia Bail Fund, whose goal is to eliminate money bail in Philadelphia.

STILL ON VIEW: 

Tuesday, May 12th: This week’s guest curator is Emily Smith, Executive Director of Philadelphia's Magic Gardens. A portion of the proceeds from her picks will be donated to the Emergency Relief Fund at Puentes de Salud. 100% of donations go directly to families in need, particularly undocumented residents facing unemployment in the food service and labor industries. Puentes checks in with their families and community directly to provide the most support possible.

Tuesday, May 5th: This week's guest curators are Erin Waxman and Megan Brewster, founders of Art Star. A portion of the proceeds from their picks will be donated to The Craft Emergency Relief Fund, which serves artists who work in craft disciplines by providing a safety net to support strong and sustainable careers.

Tuesday, April 28th: This week's guest curator is Shannon Maldonado, founder of YOWIE. A portion of the proceeds from her picks will be donated to The Garces Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to ensuring that Philadelphia's underserved immigrant community has access to health and educational services.

Tuesday, April 21st: This week’s guest curators are Robert Perry, owner of Tattooed Mom and Ekaterina Popova, owner of Create! Magazine. A portion of the proceeds from their picks will be donated to The Sunday Love Project, whose mission is to feed the homeless in Philadelphia.
