I was born on Friday the 13th and I’m left-handed so I’ve always felt connected to things considered unlucky (or sinister). This work is an appreciation of two supposedly unlucky animals— crows and black cats. I imagine these creatures combine the intelligence and craftiness of crows with the loveable mysteriousness of black cats.
